The Silence I Never Heard
Some goodbyes leave paw prints that never fade.
This poem is a tribute to our beloved German Shepherd, whose loyalty, quiet love, and faithful companionship filled our lives with joy. Looking back, I wish I had recognized the depth of your silent struggle before it was time to say goodbye.
Though you are gone, you will always remain in our hearts. Until we meet again, you are deeply loved and dearly missed.
The Beckoning
Sometimes God calls us into the storm—not to abandon us, but to teach us where real faith is found. This poem reflects the journey from confidence, to fear, to sinking, and finally to discovering that Christ's hand is stronger than every wave. When we stop reaching for the safety of the boat and take hold of Him, we find peace beyond the storm.
"His hand in mine changed everything."
Splinters
As I held her there in Daddy's chair, God spoke to my heart.
Not with words heard by the ear; we weren't that far apart.
You are much like her to me so this I'll tell you true.
The hurt and pain that's in your life I'll faithfully remove.
I understand your anger, hurt, and disappointment too.
I love you more than you love her.
Don't you think I do?
Being a Child
A child came out to play one day and never really knew,
that all the things were seen and done are making something new.
A Legacy you’ll leave one day so carefully review,
your life in all it’s grand effects…
…Be careful what you say and do.
